Dominik & Jelena have been teaching together for 7 years in Zurich and Lucerne, where they also run their school and own cultural area “sousol”.      

Jelena Ivanovic is a trained ballet and contemporary dancer and, in addition to tango instruction, works as a choreographer and dance theatre producer. Dominik Müller has been teaching tango for 20 years, in 1999 he realised the large festival “Tangostadt” within the framework of the Zurich Festival. They both organise tango events, tango holidays and workshops with tango instructors from all over the world, and for years have been running the Festival “Tango im Schnee” in Engelberg.

Dominik & Jelena practice a freely guided and improvised Salon Tango and place emphasis on an enjoyable and relaxed “walk together” – an interpretation of the music as a “moving dialogue” of two bodies within an area. Grace, connection, precision and pleasure in the shared movement of a differentiated, dynamic and at the same time relaxed dance quality. The quality of the dance is the centre point of their classes. Furthermore, orientation, respect, calmness and composure on the dance floor, an erect, relaxed frame and last but not least the preservation of good humour are very important.
