– The art nouveau hotel Paxmontana in Central Switzerland is reopening its doors at Christmas following a two year renovation period. There, together with Jelena and Dominik from Lucerne, we are organising six intensive tango-days, during which Tango Argentino de Salón will be learnt and danced.
The instructors are Amanda & Adrian Costa, from France, and Dominik & Jelena. They approach the topic Salón from different aspects. There are four blocks, each with a total of 9 lessons, which are spread over the days. Amanda & Adrian’s topics are: "Tango de Salón" and "Milonga", Jelena & Dominik are occupied with "walked turns in Vals and Milonga" and with "Colgadas and Volgadas for the Salon". Theoretically, you could attend all 36 lessons, but only 9 lessons are also possible. How much you would like to learn, you can decide for yourself – regardless of whether you’re a tango dancing winter athlete or an insatiable Milonguero.
Every evening is Milonga; we take one trip to Luzern, in order to dance at the Sousol. And on Saturday, to finish things off, an afternoon Milonga will also be held there.
Intermediate and advanced level dancers are welcome in all the courses. Amanda and Adrian instruct in English/French, Jelena & Dominik in German and English.
