18–25¦8¦2012 – Milonga is a fast, frolicsome rhythm, while Tango Vals is the Argentinian reply to the Viennese Waltz - very melodious and lively. How can one dance the Milonga without breaking out in a sweat? How does one achieve a flow in the Vals?
When is it appropriate to double the pace in terms of music? These and other questions will be answered in practice during this week. We will be working on dancing to music, techniques, a change in tempo and direction, making sure that the fun aspect features throughout.
For 5 days this week, Enrique & Judita will be focusing on the one style during the morning sessions, and on the other during the afternoon sessions. One day will be without lessons to allow for excursions.
Those who would like to spend more time on their own have an option of selecting one of the two styles at a price reduction of €180.00.
On three evenings we will have a delicious meal at selected restaurants in the vicinity, and on the final evening we will jointly organise a cheerful barbeque. All apartments feature a kitchen. Besides Milonga & Vals we will naturally dance the Tango for as long as we wish on all evenings.
The course is suited to dance couples who already have experience with the Tango Argentino. Medium of instruction: German, and where required other languages as well.
